Active skin infections, Epilepsy, Accutane, Cortisone, Sun tan, Fake tan, Breastfeeding, Anticoagulant, Keloid, Open wounds, Scarring, Cancer, Diabetes, Dermatitis, Tattoo, Vitiligo, Antibiotics, Coagulopathy, Herpes (HSV-2) Cold sores, Moles, Recent waxing/plucking, Depilatory cream, Hirsutism, High blood pressure, HIV, Bleeding disorders, Psoriasis, Previous chemical peel or laser resurfacing (at least 4 months).

Before treatment 

Shave the treatment area at least 12 hours before your appointment. Shave with a clean, sharp razor. 

Avoid waxing, plucking, or using depilatory creams. 

Avoid sun exposure, UV tanning beds or fake tan products for at least two weeks before your appointment. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily. 

Avoid applying products like oils, lotions, creams, or fragrances to the treatment area.  

Avoid using topical products that cause photosensitivity, like hydroxy acids, salicylic acid, retinols, and benzoyl peroxide at least 3 days before treatment.

Follow instructions for any oral prescription medications you are taking.

After treatment

Apply soothing alcohol free aloe vera gel or soothing cream. 

Avoid sun exposure, including sunbeds for at least two weeks after treatment.

Use sunscreen with SPF 30+ daily 

Cover the treated area when spending time outdoors.

Do not engage in strenuous physical activity;

Gently exfoliate the treated area at least two days after the procedure 

Exfoliating regularly can help prevent ingrown hairs. Wear loose clothing to avoid friction and irritation. 

Avoid waxing, tweezing, and threading for the duration of the treatment course 

Avoid irritating products 

Avoid products with perfumes and fragrances, which can cause redness and discoloration 

Avoid body scrubs, which can cause redness and irritation 

Avoid heat treatments such as spas, steam rooms, and saunas for 7 days. Avoid hot baths and hot showers for 48 hours.
