The Peels

Chemical peel is a powerful skin exfoliating solution applied to the face, neck, or hands to reveal the clear skin underneath. What makes this technique so popular is that it’s useful for a variety of skin concerns.

Peels are generally classified by their ingredients. Each skin condition may respond differently to the ingredients in a peel. For example, wrinkles, pigment problems, and superficial blemishes respond very well to a stronger peel. Acne often responds best to salicylic acid peels.

Alpha-hydroxy (AHA), glycolic, lactic, or fruit acid peels are among the gentlest peels. 

All peels can provide skin rejuvenating benefits, but your skin’s type and condition dictates which peel to use.

An acid solution is used to peel away the skin’s damaged outer layers. The new cells and collagen are stimulated during the healing process to produce a smoother, tighter, younger-looking skin surface. A peel does not eliminate sagging or excess skin. Each treatment is customized for client's skin type, specific problem areas and the delicate areas of the face. The depth of the peel is dependent on the concentration and type of acid, the duration of contact, and a person’s skin type and sensitivity.

Lactic acid peel with led light therapy 30 mins

Glycolic acid peel with led light therapy 30 mins

Effective for a variety of skin conditions including acne, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores and photoaging.

Salicylic acid peel with led light therapy 30 mins

Antibacterial and Great for  oily skin and acne pro, congested skin.

Vitamin A peel with led light therapy 30 mins

Smooths and refines aging skin.  Improves skin health and restore a healthy glow.

Before treatment:

Avoid exfoliating your skin, steer clear of the sun, avoid depilatory creams, electrosis, stay hydrated.

​

Aftercare:

Avoid direct sunlight, hot water baths or steam baths, scrubbing or rubbing the face, avoid use of chemicals and make-up on the area, perfumed washes or creams and threading/waxing.

The skin is bound to become dry and slightly flaky a few days after the peel and this will continue for 5-10 days, apply moisturiser as needed.

Regular skin care regimen can be resumed 24hrs after the procedure.

Sunscreen should be used diligently during the day.

Any other cosmetological procedure, if planned should only be done after 2 weeks of the procedure.
